Alright guys, in an attempt to get rid of my unsightly PCIe video connector, I want to run the thing under my mobo to my power supply. My question here is... Can I do this:

and not cause serious issues? I mean, I already have both molexs going into the same "branch" from my PSU... what does it matter?

Evga 7800 Gt video card btw :).

Yes. I think your concern is the current capability of the "branch" of wires. Too much current through too thin of a wire is what causes them to burn...

So you will be retaining the 2 wires, and as you said they are already off the same PSU molex, so by practical experience you know that to work already.

Looks fine to me.

well i was trying to find them for you buy i cant seem to.

anyway the ultra flex force cables might help. they take one molex and make it to one pci-e connector but they are VERY flat and can be run under if you want.

also, i think when i looked at them they were like your diagram, so maybe it can work. anyhoo i cant be of much help but i been lookin at some e-tailers for like 20 mins now and gave up searching to give you a link.
i use em in my system.
