Wiring nightmare...

OK, so I'm trying to convert a Powerbook G4 keyboard into a wireless keyboard. Does anyone know the pinouts for this keyboard or any other laptop keyboard for that matter.

I will definitely buy an existing off-the-shelf wireless keyboard for parts if need be. However, I am not sure how I would connect the battery and wireless connections to the proprietary connection on the laptop keyboard.

It would even help if anyone knew just how to convert the keyboard simply into a USB connection.

And don't tell me to just go buy one, because I need this for a very specific application, and an off-the-shelf simply won't do.

your probably going to have to buy an off the shelf one, tear that one apart and get the transmitter, wire it to the out put, somehow power the keyboard, the use the reciever for the off the shelf one to recieve the signal, which probably won't work anyways because the off the shelf one is going to have a difernt setup, possible a pc keyboard vs a mac one, your goig to have one hell of a time fixing that baby up
