So I'm trying to set up a new system and want to make sure I get the wiring right since this is my first time.
The front panel comes with speaker out, mic input, Firewire port, and USB port wiring.
The wiring to the speaker out port has 5 connectors: L-out, L-Ret, R-out, R-Ret and ground
The wiring on the mic input has 3 connects ground, Mic-power and Mic-In
The connector for the front audio panel on the board is 9 pins as follows:
bline_out_L - Pin 1 : Pin 2 - Line out L
: Pin 3 - NC
Bline_out_R - Pin 4 : Pin 5 - Line out R
+5VA Pin 6 : Pin 7 MICPWR
AGND Pin 8: Pin 9 MIC2
How should i connect the wires to the pins?
Is the following correct:
L-out to Pin 2, L-Ret to Pin 1
R-out to Pin 5, R-Ret to Pin 4
Ground to Pin 3
Micpower to pin 7, MicIN to pin 9 and Ground to pin 8
or should the two ground connectors be hooked to Pin 6 and 8.
Any help would be appreciated.
