I'm researching into wareless video transmission suitable to transmitting a video signal (not even 1080 required; of course that would be nice) from a PC box to a monitor/tv/projector/other display. The only info I'm finding on it is about a year old though, so I'm wondering if there are any recent developments into this that I'm missing?

I hadn't been familiar with the IOGear model mentioned there. That's just about meeting the requirements I have. 720p is more than enough for most reasonable wireless applications; wireless just isn't a sensible choice for most applications since most of them require "wireless" more than high-def. Still, VGA is something of a drawback nowadays when it comes to choices in display hardware, imo.
