hello all

i recently bought a tablet PC

and i am wondering if this idea would be possible.

if i got a tvtuner in my main rig would it be possible to broadcast the tv signal over the internet?
specifically over a wireless connection 802.11a/b/g/etc

the thought is that i could watch tv on the tablet from anywhere in the house and change channels etc

i know how to stream audio and video from say shoutcast

but can i actually control the channels etc ?

thanks for the input

hmm i'm thinking remote access or something to that sort. Connect to the main rig, load the program through the connection, and try it out. it might work like crap though. mind as well give it a shot.

suggestions on remote desktop software?

free would sure be nice
but doesnt have to be

VLC Player/streamer is your choice. I ain't sure 'bout changing channels, but it surely broadcasts in any TCP/ip environment.
