Wireless Surround Sound PC Speakers

[bwp73]

I'm looking for a new set of speakers for my home office and with the way it's laid out a set of wireless speakers would be great but my searches haven't really returned any hits. Is there any such beast or am I wasting my time? Any help in my search would be appreciated.

Thx

I don't know of any wireless speakers...

But, I think that you could figure something out with a cheap set of 5.1 (z 640's) and a few sets of wireless headphones... But then again, I probably am totally wrong...

Sorry bobsaget, you are totally wrong. Best buy has a few wireless speakers. I'm sure you can find them at any home theater store.

How was I wrong?

I said, "I don't know of any wireless speakers..."

But damn those are expensive!

Hey jpmkm, do you think my wireless headphone idea would work? I know that it would decrease the sound quality... but oh well...

Yeah I guess you weren't totally wrong. Just sounded good.

The wireless headphone idea would work up to a point. You would need amplfiers in the speakers. Whatever circuitry that is in the headphones would not be able to drive the speakers by itself.

15w floating around in the air just isn't gonna happen.. lol

thanks for the help anyways!
