I'm looking for a new set of speakers for my home office and with the way it's laid out a set of wireless speakers would be great but my searches haven't really returned any hits. Is there any such beast or am I wasting my time? Any help in my search would be appreciated.

Thx

I don't know of any wireless speakers...

But, I think that you could figure something out with a cheap set of 5.1 (z 640's) and a few sets of wireless headphones... But then again, I probably am totally wrong... :p

Sorry bobsaget, you are totally wrong. :p Best buy has a few wireless speakers. I'm sure you can find them at any home theater store.

How was I wrong?

But damn those are expensive! :D

Hey jpmkm, do you think my wireless headphone idea would work? I know that it would decrease the sound quality... but oh well... :D

Yeah I guess you weren't totally wrong. Just sounded good. :D

The wireless headphone idea would work up to a point. You would need amplfiers in the speakers. Whatever circuitry that is in the headphones would not be able to drive the speakers by itself.
