Hello there, currently I own a "Yamaha TSS-1" Surround sound setup.

I'm thinking of going wireless just for the convience as I "HATE" wires, and I move my kit around quite regularly.

I'm looking for a two speaker + sub setup of roughly the same standard as my yamaha but wireless.

1) Does such a thing exist, (with good sound quality)

2) Any recommendations of kit with average sound quality,

There are some problems with this.

1. wireless sound is not that great, it's like FM broadcast quality.
2. each wireless speaker would need it's own amp and would need to plug in a wall power scoket.

thats why you dont see much of that....
 
Sony, LG and I think Yamaha have brought out wireless home theatre solutions, but the main problem is, as Zardoz said, is the problem of power. You either hook it up to a mains power source (and make it a wired setup) or go through a lotta batteries. Thats what makes it really unnattractive, in reality.
