wireless router that separates LAN and 802.11

For a small office, are there routers out there that segregate wireless traffic from the hardwired LAN and protect access with a hotspot style password (instead of an encryption key)?

The office would like to enable internet access for guests in the conference room, wherein they only need to enter a password in a webpage to attach to the wireless. But also not allow those guests to see any desktops/servers that are part of the hardwired LAN.

It'd be even better though if office users who had laptops could enter a different password and have access to the servers/printers/their own desktops.

Thanks for any help,

jcy

I think a bunch of consumer APs support multi-LAN operation. My DIR-655 has a "guest WLAN" which is isolated from the internal LAN/WLAN and has distinct settings (SSID etc...). You can also set an automated schedule for it to enable/disable (ie. guest zone only active during business hours).

It's not a password in a browser, but you can just use a WEP/WPA/WPA2 static key in the same fashion.

thanks but that cafe hotspot style password login is necessary.

most people are too dumb to know how to enter a WEP key to join a wireless network

setup pfsense in pass-thru mode and attach an ap or a router with DHCP disabled on the other end.
then enable the captive portal and set up user names.
