Got a WRT54G and I fucking hate it. Linksys sucks, me and my roommates need a decent enough wireless router for browsing the internet and downloading porn, that doesn't disconnect us every five minutes. Looking to spend under 120$. something around 80 or 90 would be legit.
 
LOL, what I would not recommend:

Netgear 624
Netgear 614

I've had both fry on me. These suck, just read around.

I've had good luck with:

Netgear Rangemax 824 (Circuit City has it for $99 this week)
Linksys WRT54GL, note the L, not S and not plain WRT54G. Have a read at Great forum

If he's got 2 systems downloading anything via P2P or torrents most of the SOHO routers are going to have problems.
