hi i have a belkin 54g wireless router with 4 wired ports, i have my two desktops hard wired, and i have my laptop on wireless, now my wireless laptop works online through the belking and the two desktops are network together under windows(setup network wizard) also on the belkin, but for some reason i cannot get the laptop on the network like to share files or printers or anything, i have tried everything can someone please help, i checked all ip and subnets and they are techinicly on the same network but when i search for my desktops nothing, and same fomr the desktops they only find each other
 
You don't need to run any wizards for interent connectivity so I am not sure what your talking about there. Maybe there is a wizard that walks you through some things but it's not nessa. As far as the LAN networking, search for you remote computers by IP or just use UNC

\\IP for instance \\192.168.1.3
and hit enter
 
The router doesn't separate them...
File 'n Printer sharing set as an exception in the XP firewall on the laptop?
or
Any 3rd party software firewalls on the laptop?
If you ping the desktops IPs from the lappy..any replies? Visa versa?

On a Peer to Peer network if my memory serves you have to run an initial wizard, merely to enable certain functionality. Once that initial wizard is done, any other wizard is about the last thing you should do.
