Here's the situation :

I have 2 internet connections.

One is wired (ans slow) and the other is wireless (and fast)

How can I FORCE windows to try to use the wireless connections ?

I have found a semi-solution which is to lower my wired network card to 10baseT speeds,

but I'd like to leave it 100baseT for fast communication in my network.

I've tried using the route change command to give a better priority to the wireless connection but I't didn't work.

Tips ?

Thank you.

In XP you can set the metric in the TCPIP advanced properties. Lower = better so set your wired metric Lower. IT's the default 0.0.0.0 routes in a route print, that matter when going outside your network.

Go to the control panel, network connections, click Advanced, click Advanced Settings. Reorder your network connections so that wireless is at the top. Windows will try to use that first.
