Wireless Networking Problems

Since you are taking the time to read my topic (and hopefully answer my question ;)) I created a beautiful MS Paint rendition of our home network to help you understand how everything is connected:

network2xp.png

Computer Two was connected to our wireless network. The WRT54G had it's settings reset, and now Computer Two can't access the network. Computer One has just had a wireless card installed, and it can't access it either. Both have D-Link DWL-G510 wireless adapters installed. Computer Three can connect to the Internet perfectly.

Computers One and Two are unable to acquire an IP address from the Linksys (which does have DHCP enabled). I connected Computer One directly to the Linksys with a cable, and it was able to access other computers/the Internet perfectly. I copied the settings (as below, in case you can spot something wrong with them) into the TCP/IP section of the Wireless Network Connection properties dialog, only changing the IP address:

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS server: 10.0.0.138

The wireless adapter now shows that it is connected to the network, yet I can not access the Internet or the other computers on it, and although packets are being sent, none are being received.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is any security being used on the wireless?
When you reset the router, well..try it anyways....set up new SSID, dont' bother with the old one. Fresh new SSID, new WPA psk if setting that up....try a different channel also...then go to the clients and give it a go.
