Hey guys, looking for some info about wireless network repeaters. Currently I have a Netgear 802.11b wired/wireless router (MR814v2) and its in a terrible spot in the house (have to keep it that way so I can be on the wired network, not wireless) but unfortunately that means we have terrible signal throughout the house. I mean most of the house is covered, but one room and one spot outside is not receiving any signal.
What I'm curious about is a wireless repeater. Now Netgear doesnt currently offer such a product which means I'd have to try my luck with a D-Link, Linksys, or Buffalo (?) repeater. None of these are guarenteed to work with another manufacturers product but I don't see why they wouldn't. I haven't found too much info around so I'm asking you guys.
What do you guys think I should do? Which repeater is best ?
