Wireless network monitoring software

I'm trying to diagnose if my laptop's wireless card has gone bad or if its my router playing hell with my laptop's wireless card. Is there a software that can monitor when my wireless signal drops and when it reconnects? The little icon in my system tray for windows isn't very accurate to be honest or quick.
