That is double the channel width of Wireless-G. 802.11n standardized support/technical specifications for multiple-input multiple-output (AKA MIMO). It also increased security and improved several additional features.

This article said N is more secure than G. How exactly? I thought wireless security is a function of WPA2 / WPA personal etc.

And if this article is telling the truth, can we infer Wireless AC more secure than N?

The increase in security being referred to is that the 802.11n standard only allows the use of AES keys; the use of TKIP and WEP keys were not allowed in new devices with the Wi-Fi stamp in a staged elimination over three years starting in 2011. (Source)

"802.11ac does not make fundamental changes to the 802.11 security architecture, nor does it introduce new features that require significant changes in your existing network security systems." (Source)
