I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. I tried.
I love trackballs and am currently using a Microsoft Trackball Explorer 1.0. I really dig it and was looking at buying another one to go with the new system I am building.
But today, while visiting the Logitech website, I saw the wireless Logitech Trackman Trackball. It looks really sweet and I would really like not having to deal with a cord (I move my trackball from the keyboard tray to the desk top and back all the time).
So, here's my question...
Is there any lag to be worried about? The wireless trackman has the same frequencey range as the MX700 at 27MHz, but I don't even know if that stat means anything. Logitech's site isn't very good at putting all the models' stats in the same places, so I'm a little confused. What should I look for to make sure that this Trackball will do the job? I don't want to deal with lag, but if it's the same as the MX700, then from what I've read here, it won't be a problem. Right?
