Okay, so I bought a Netgear 54g router and a netgear PCI networking card the other day.

Hooked up the router and set it up with WEP encryption, blah blah blah.

Went downstairs and threw the wireless card in the computer downstairs and ran the driver software without a hitch. It instantly recognized my connection and I put in the WEP key and it worked fine. About 4 hours later it still had a connection, but would not connect to the internet. I hit "repair" in network connections and it worked fine. Same thing happened the next day, and the same thing happened again today, except hitting "repair" said that it failed to renew the DNS or something. So I restarted the computer, went in to the thing and hit "repair" and it started working again.

I dont understand what is causing it to lose its IP address if it is, it should be an IP that goes directly to the router, and the router would have the main IP wouldnt it? The connection has never gone below 75 percent or whatever in the driver, and windows says the connection is "very good" so what do you guys think it could be.
