Bah, after the handshake issues I've had with regular HDMI I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot stick :p
 
It's a cool idea that's been around for some time now. Just give it time to mature and come down in price. Early adopters are rarely rewarded.
 
Holy crap I could build myself a NAS box, run hdmi through the wall and upgrade my wireless to N with cash to spare.
