Wireless Gaming Mice - Recommendations?

Hey all,

I've been lurking through the mice threads for a while now, not to mention searching google as well as individual threads, but nothing has satisfactorily answered the following.

What is the best wireless mouse for gaming?

Now let me preface that I know wired mice are the only TRUE way to go when it comes to gaming mice, but I've always loved my Logitech wireless mice and would like to see if there is a better alternative.

I'll admit that the question is a bit amorphous depending on personal preferences, so here's what I'm looking for and I'd love for you guys tell me if it's a pipe dream based upon current available recommendations/options.

- Decent battery life (5 hours+? a la RAT9 or G700)
- Option to be wired (charging cable a la Razer Mamba or Orochi)
- High DPI sensor(s) (2000dpi+ wireless, 5700+ wired, could top out at 2000 wireless if not specifically "gaming grade")
- Comfortable in average size hand (Performance MX, MX Revolution, MX1100)

Have any of you had experience with the following mice and what are your feelings on them?

- Logitech G700
- Razer Mamba
- MadCatz RAT 9

Did you have any problems adapting to a mouse or getting over any flaws that you thought might be deal-breakers?

Are there any STANDARD wireless mice that might be a closer fit? I currently have the Performance MX and have had experience with the MX Revolution as well as the MX1100 in the past and they used to do rather well for me until recently. Are there any other options I might be dismissing that you guys have had experience with that could be a good middle ground between standard and gaming grade?

All in all I'm looking for the best of all worlds and frankly it might not exist, but I thought I'd pick the brains of those that are like-minded.

I appreciate any and all suggestions or recommendations you guys have.

Thanks!

I know the G700 does not have an option for it to be wired -- I might say Razer is the way to go.

Edit***

Derp nevermind.

Actually the g700 DOES allow for the mouse to be cabled.

Ok, looks like I might have needed to lurk moar because I've come across some comments regarding this topic that have swayed my opinion.

Sorry for what I can only assume to be a thread that is repeated more than most people care to see.

Thanks for playing!

Both the mamba and the g700 are great wireless mouses. The g700 is kindof big so unless you have decent sized hands they might feel a little weird.
