As the title says, I bought a new wireless-G USB adapter for a wireless-B router. From what I read, it's backwards compatible (I couldn't find and B adapters).
We get 5mb cable internet and on speedtest.net I would usually get around 2800kb/250kb on the B adapter. Now with the G adapter, I get around 1500kb/480kb. Obviously I'm happy with the increased upload but download is not nearly enough imo.
Is this normal?
