Wireless bridge or something else?

I am looking for a solution to my setup. I am getting a vonage phone adaptor that is going to be right next to my office computer but the router/modem is on a different end of the building.
The computer has wireless but the phone adaptor does not. What is the best solution for me? I was thinking about just getting one of those gaming adapters to connect the adapter wirelessly or is there a better solution?
The gaming adapters are the same as a wireless bridge right? I seem to get more useful results searching ebay for gaming adapters than I do searching for bridges. Searching for bridges yields to very expensive units.

As for a bridge, any old WRT54G can be flashed with either DD-WRT or Tomato firmware and act as a wireless bridge. I use a couple of them in that exact manner in my house.
