should I have any problems playing a DIVX movie across a wireless B connection? I can play movies currently, but during high action seens it gets choppy.
the specs on the machine are:
duron 1.3
512 pc133 ram
Voodoo3 video
I'd do some tests:
1. copy the file to your HD. If it plays fine from there, then it is network related.
2. run a file transfer speed test (hell, just copy over a windows share if you ahve to since that's likely how you're viewing the movie). Get say a 100mb file, and time with a stopwatch how long it takes to copy. It wont be SUPER accurate, but it'll be at least an indicator.
