So my cooler fell off the other day, Just the shroud, And i ordered a Coolviva z1 to replace it. The factory cooler on the card has a 4 wire plug and i want to know if i can wire up a PMW fan to replace it to put on the coolviva. Thanks for the future replies.

you will need a vga pwm adapter if you want to hook a pwm case fan up

Cant i just make one? Using the old plug off of the gpu fan and slicing it? but that would be kind of ghetto.
I may just get one of the adapters you mentioned, Thank you for posting.

You absolutely can slice off the old connector and re-wire to a different fan
