Currently I'm using a pair of wired older Corsair HS60 headphones with a Soundblaster X4, I also have a pair of Skullcandy Crusher ANC wireless headphones which I've been thinking of switching to. Should i get a new pair of wired headphone or cut the wire and go with the Skullcandy, what say you?

If you already have it sitting there why don’t you use it and make up your mind accordingly? This is a rabbit hole so you can go very deep. For more info on my suggestions for each type visit the thread recent experiences with headphones.

I personally would be happy with just a HyperX Cloud 3S and never bother again with this thing.

Also what is your budget as that will change quality of good options significantly.

I love my HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset, 2.5 years in and the battery life is still almost 2 weeks of 8-12 a day use. They sound good for games, music and Teams chats and have a range that lets me walk around the house without dropping out.

My skullcandys are pretty bad usb connection or wireless I have some Crusher Evos. You want some Model one mk2 off Amazon. or just goto Walmart they have a pretty good selection price is about the same as Amazon. The Hyper X just got bought out so they sound cheaper I guess than before HyperX doesn't own the brand.

Wireless has gotten better over the years but think of it this way you still need to charge them with a wire.

I still like speakers over Headphones I'll use Speakers before Headphones. Headphones for night time.

I've always have used wired headphones with normally a Soundblaster PCI-e card, been doing this for many many years, now I have the Soundblaster X4 that a friend gave me. I think at some point I may use the Skullcandy headphones, they sound great and the bass is incredible, it's hard to break 30 years of habit though.

With HyperX Cloud 3 S you can forget all of that. Connect the dongle and you are ready to go.
