OK, this is probably a very noob question, but I just want to make sure it's a-OK.
Anyways...
I want to get my wires all nice and together, and preatty much hidden.
I know you should get the heat shrink and then the tubing or something. But what about plain old electrical tape? I think I still will get tubing eventually, but will the tape work instead of the heat shrink?
Sorry to waste your time with a stupid question..
 
look at my post for the $3.50 case cleanup in this forum. It details exactly that. Taping all the wiring. Worked well at very low cost.
 
You wont be able to use heat shink on the cables in your system. You will need to buy a wire wrap or split loom which does basically the same thing.
