Wire Hiding?

I was wondering how most of you experienced modders hide wires.

as in...how you do it? what you use? and where you buy what you use?

Lots and lots of zip ties, route them behind the motherboard tray, behind the PSU, behind the drives, anywhere you can get them besides out in the open... Do the power cables one "string" at a time, and try to get the IDE cables as un-tangled looking as possible, and take your time doing it.

Some people neatly fold cables like Origami and they look very nice but I think for the most part it is done with sleeving and custom length cables which are the appropriate length to hide easily.

this isn't the best guide but its a start...

Also some where there is a thread about wiring, called "show off your wiring" or something, look in there for hints and tricks. I plan on spending a lot of time on my wiring, so I will update my worklog when my stuff comes in.

You know, I am starting to think that the art of hiding wires is more difficult than the actual building of the machine itself. :D

anywhere i can get a sleaving kit?

BTW, ty for the suggestion of hiding the wires behind the motherboard, i'd never thought of that.

Making a false floor to hide your wires under (if any) is one of the best idea's I've heard of.

not trying to talk shit or anything but is it me or is there aleast 2 or 3 threads a week asking " where to hide wires" there needs to be a sticky about hiding wires.

most of the time u can hide alot of wires behind ur mobo tray.

i think i know pretty much what im gonna do, but...one last question for the road...where would i find sleeving kits? only on the net?

www.svc.com has great pricing for individual sleeving.
