Computer setup...

IDE1---------- Maxtor 250gb HD (Main WinXP partition)
|
|----- DVD-ROM burner

IDE2---------- Maxtor 250gb HD (50Gb WinXP; Rest Linux)
|
|----- DVD-ROM burner

Onboard SATA1---------- WD 200gb HD (Dynamic WinXP disk0 RAID0)
|
|----- None

Onboard SATA2---------- Maxtor 200gb HD (Dynamic WinXP disk1 RAID0)
|
|----- None

On onboard SATA2... have a spare of 894mb after setting up dynamic RAID0 in WinXP.

Swap setup... IDE1 primary 512mb, IDE2 primary 512mb, Dynamic disk 130mb, spare space on SATA2 894mb. So technically speaking I have 2 swaps on same HD; SATA2...

In Event Viewer I kept getting "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk3\D." error. Sometimes the system random reboots. I had to reactivate dynamic disk in Computer Management all the time.

If I took off the 894mb swap off SATA2 the error goes away and system seem to be quite stable (so far no errors and no randeom reboots). Is this a fault of WinXP? That you can't have 2+ swap on same HD? System is Pentium D 930 on ECS P4M800PRO-M not overclocked. Thanks.
