I try to watch a .asf file with MP-10. It opens show nothing, tell me try Webhelp.
>You need an Audio Codec[MP-10].
It is not available from MS,,,Code...C00D10D1, refer me to other plugin site,

say I must look for "45".

...But as I can make out, this is a video codec and I already have the latest version of it=inde V.4.51.16.2 as in device manager.

How do I know which Audio Codec MP-10 is actually referring to ?
 
LIke vanskater said, gspot will help you out. It's a program that will tell you what codec you need to open a file.
 
I got Gspot, but it reports partial faulture...
