WinXP or Win2k3 Server?

Is anyone running Windows 2003 Server? I know of one, and he likes it. I wonder how it is... can you completely replace XP with it?

Stability comes first, but I do play a bit of farcry and other games. I wonder how the compatibility is. Thoughts?
 
2k3 Server is for serving. Period.

WinXP is the Desktop line. Use it on DESKTOPS.
 
Server is for Serving. But I have played around with win2k3 as workstation and I like it more then winxp. I like the simplicity of wi2k and 2k3 is very simlar to win2k. Also after Hal is enabled I found out that it performed better in certain games.
 
Are you going to be using it as a server? Generally that's what windows 2003 server is used for. If you are just running a desktop computer then just use xp.
 
I did the drive test with win2k3 eval kit and after making all the tests i wanted to run on it, i decided to play some games.

Found delayed page operations while running far cry demo and i didnt like the sound of it heh.

Anyway, can you verify the problem if you do play some games on it?
