So at work my bosses decided that throwing away windows xp cds was cool since "HEY COMPUTERS WORKING".
Anyways, i still have all the keys for the computers, can i just reinstall all them with one CD and just use the original keys? Or are they tied to the CD somehow?

I've googled this and keep getting mixed answers.

You need the keys and then each type of media for all the different keys you have. If you have a mixture of XP Pro retail and XP Pro OEM then you need at least one disc for both. The keys are tied not to each disc, but to each type of disc if that makes sense.

depends on what kind of key and what kind of media you have.
OEM computers?
custom built?

if OEM, you will need a disc from the OEM.
if custom built, but OEM keys, then you will just need a single OEM disc.
if Retail keys, then just a single retail disc.

You don't need mulitple discs, Search for the XP 9-in-1 disc online. I can't post it here, not sure If I am allowed. It contains the necessary files all rolled together for every* OEM/Retail version of XP. OEM is if the liscense came from Dell/HP etc, it will be branded on the sticker of the XP key. Retail is typically packaged and sold in a box, without branding. But yes you can use the same disc, as long as its the same type* (i.e. XP Retail / XP OEM).
