WinXP Automatically Shut Down?

Anyone know if there is a program or some way to get WinXP to shut down after a download or taske is completed? I know that Nero used to give you the option after you were done burning a CD it would shut windows down. Anything out there like this?

I'm going out of town for a week and I want my PC to shut down after it's finished with the task at hand.

You might be able to script the shutdown (shutdown.exe) command after the task completes... What's the task, or are you looking for a generic answer?

I think the answer is going to be task-specific.
