Hey,

My brother is building an Athlon 64 rig with a Radeon 9600Pro spec'ed in there.

He is fortunate enough to work for a MS Gold partner so has access to WinXP 64 from Tech Net. So we are going to have a play around with it.

I had a look for some WinXP 64 drivers from ATI, but there dont appear to be any accessable on the std web site.

Do such drivers exsist yet? NV has a set of beta drivers already for download. Can someone point me in the direction for some ATI ones?

Thanks!

:D

I haven't seen any. I too have WINXp 64, but without the radeon drivers it is of no use to me.

I've heard ATi have some in production. They won't be released until a consumer 64bit OS is released though.

I've also heard murmors about the pre-released XP 64 Itanium not being compatible with AMD64 processors anyways.

Of course they arent. there are two versions of WinXP 64 and the one we have is for x86-64 (AKA AMD64) instructions, not Itanium.
