I have two computers running the SMP client and when I shut them down last night to tweak the config file (changed cpu utilization from 75% to 50%) they will not restart. I deleted the install and tried reinstalling it but to no avail. Both computers this happened to, changing the settings back in the config file does nothing. One computer is running xp 64 bit and the other vista 64 bit. Do I need to delete some stuff in the registry?

When you say it will not restart, what does it say or behave ?

It pops up for a second very quickly and then closes. I don't have a chance to read any sort of error message. It also won't start if i try running it from the command line. There's another thread posted and the person is having the exact problem i am. Try restarting your SMP client and see what happens.

Ah, it might have expired if you are running a beta client. Try to download the latest client, replace the executable and see if it works fine.

Xil is probably dead on. I have had that happen is very frustrating. You can take a look at the F@H Log though and it will show you what it is error'n on.
