Is there a good way to dial from the computer and use the computer's mic/speaker for making regular calls?

Over bluetooth or usb are both ok.

Are you talking about using something like Skype? Afaik, most VOIP programs like skype require a wifi or 3G connection to work properly. never tried it connected to my computer.

Use a computer to control your phone and make calls? Why not just hook up a phone modem and use that as a phone ;) Maybe you mean a laptop? or somewhere there is no land line?
Might try something like this http://mymobiler.com/ with a bluetooth headset or bluetooth speakers, or just get a phone with decent speakers and use speakerphone.

yea I have no landline. And skype's $.06 connection fee sucks. Cool program; but it can't route sound to the computer?
