winload.exe is missing for vista; wont boot

I just rebooted my vista machine and all of a sudden I don't even see the vista loading bar, it just goes to this error that says vista cannot load because winload.exe is corrupt or missing. I tried searching for it and I can't find it. Perhaps there is one I can get from a site?
I Tried to do safemode but I can't do that either.
