WIndowx XP x64 Security Update Won't Let System Shutdown

This came from the wonderful land of family tech support for today. My mother was installing her updates and installed all the updates that were available yesterday. Now the problem is her computer won't shutdown....it just sits at the windows is shutting down screen. Nothing else on the sytem has changed and when she does restore to before the updates everything is fine. So I am guessing it is one of the updates I just don't know which one and i was hoping to find out before I drove over an hour to get there after work tonight so I could speed up the process. I haven't had a problem with my 4 x64 systems so looking to see if anyone knows which is the culprit. These are the updates:
