I had being using those Dell copy of Win XP on my computers. No problem at all. Only thing is in order to register, you will have to call MS service center, which only takes like 5 mins. The other thing is that it will create a Dell folder on your HD, I don't know what that does, never look into it or check it out since my computer runs just fine.

thank you

Yeah, um, we resell Dells here, and I have tried before using a Dell Win XP pro CD to install Win XP on another machine, and it won't let you.... So unless you're using different disks, this doesn't sound right.

i installed it on my custom rig and been through over 4 different mobos with no problems at all

im using a dell oem XPpro, when i installed it, i got an error sayin that the Hardware doesnt match what the software was intended for or some shit but just rebooted and its been working fine

If there dell NFR replacements or whatever then i dont think you can sell them

Unfortunately, it's against the rules. I had an OEM full Vista Home Premium unactivated I had to remove at several other forums due to similar rules. Sorry. :(

I think people need to start reading. He said he would sell it with hardware.

I am suprised people keep posting the rules but have not taken the time to read the first post.
I have had the same problem in a post of mine yesterday. What is up with you guys?
Instead of threats just read the post first.

same here, it seems that the hardware id will give ms the info that you dont have a dell and will reject the OEM dell key and ask you for another, but then again you could get lucky......
