Windows XP & these little white highlight/boxes problems

those whiteboxes around the words!! what are they from i cant figure it out!! it annoys me so much!

also does anyone know how to get rid of that sony ericsson icon??

when i right click on it all it says is

Open
Explore
Create Shorcut
Rename
 
It's your theme, but host in a differen't format next time. They barely show up!
 
does the box change location (ie does it move when you move the actual app around/open another one when you start a new app?)
 
in paint they will be normal, and then when i put the mouse cursor over them they do that its wierd..
 
The white boxes are caused because you use the Royale theme for windowsxp, try the default windows theme and they should be gone
