Ahh, yes. I didn't catch that the first skim-through. I can believe they would release to MSDN subscriptions (<bigbadwolf>all the better to test with, my dear</bigbadwolf>).Well, as it says in that link, it's released to manufacturers today, and released to web tomorrow for MSDN subscribers etc...

But I'm sure there will be some ripped versions on Kazaa even though its free.
I hope you're not seriously considering kazaa.ComputerBox34 said:But I'm sure there will be some ripped versions on Kazaa even though its free.
Why? The betas that are available for free public download on Microsoft's site are worth installing.Racer138138 said:when it does come out, I am going to wait for at least a month before I install it

I agree totally and would recommend SP2 to anyone out there. I wonder how anyone could have an honest complaint with it large enough to make it not worth using.ComputerBox34 said:I have it and I;ve had 0 problems with it. Even all the holes that have come out recently in IE are fixed without updating. If you install it, remember to uninstall when you install the final version. The popup blocker is great!
The long-awaited update is due to be completed "in the coming days," Microsoft senior product manager Matt Pilla said
Microsoft, which spent more than $300 million on SP2
Some of the nearly $1 billion that's gone into Service Pack 2
The 1 billion is probably closer to their profits (or budget), and the 300 mil is what they've spent so far.ComputerBox34 said:Dunno. The media could consider 300 million close to 1 billion even though they are not. 2 differnt articles though from 2 different sources.
