i have 1 laptop with bluetooth via dlink BT adapter
1 desktop with a MS bluetooth KB/mouse combo transciver
1 friends laptop with same dlink adapter
1 pda w/ bluetooth
1 phone sony z600 w/ BT
1 moto 551 phone

between computers and laptops file transfer works flawlessly (cant do anything else like stream audio though)

between the computers and pdas/phones file transfer only goes from computer to mobile but not the other way, im using the built in software that sp2 has. anyone else having the same problem? my pda is able to see all services that the phone offers like OBEX file transfer etc but my desktop/laptop only shows a modem service. did MS leave out some things with the built in drivers?

Try installing the software that came with the adapter. I had to do that to get my pda online with my linksys adapter. The winxp software is totally useless
