windows xp pro hangs on install....

Hey my computer has been giving me living hell for the last 2 weeks... first ntloader gets lost... then my computer decides to have my floppy drive go bad on me... then next my raid array says errrr we've got a loser... then on top of that I get my raid restriped (which made me lose all my college work for the last 3 years and everything important to me :( ) then I reset the first striped drive in my raid array to be the boot drive in hopes that i can then install windows on that drive... finally.... but then I get to the point where I need to agree to microsofts eula and hit f8 to continue install... and I hit f8 and the install will not go anywhere.. it just sit's there no matter what. and yes... I do the hit f6 to load my raid drivers and load them before i go to install... it just hangs there... any suggestions please? thanks in advance
 
I had this occur at a different point in the install when I had a bad RAM dimm. Basically whenever it got to using the bad ram it would just bomb on the install. For me it was later on the install, but you might look into that next.
