Greetings,

Is there a way to get Windows XP and Windows 7 machines to lock (WinKey+L) automatically after 20-30 seconds of idling? Screen saver only allows down to a minimum of 1 minute, and we need less.

How about an automatic log off after 20-30 seconds -- is this possible? Thanks!

Wow  A lock after 20 to 30 seconds of idle time. Why?!?!?!?!

i'd agree that does seam rather extreme. Although I guess some people could have an extreme need for security. I'd be looking at something other than locking on 20 seconds of idle if you are wanting to keep everything locked the moment a person walked away.

not sure if they actually work or how well they work, but i recall seeing those things awhile ago where you plug a usb device (think some worked via bluetooth) and the worker had another piece that they carried with them. if they got more than 3 or 4 feet from their computer it would lock itself.
