As I am about to reinstall. I am thinking on going Windows XP 64bit. Would it be a good choice as either stay on the same level of performance or improve it? I believe all my hardware has the correct 64bit drivers out there.
If you have 64bit Proc. Go w/ 64bit O/S like windows. Even though Apps don't run on x64 code, XP has WOW64 which will allow the apps to run on 64bit Windows.
You're welcome. But word of caution... just check your drivers (if it's available for x64) before making up your final decision. Some can be a headache, but most major drivers are already available.
