Hi all,

I can get Windows Vista Ultimate for OEM version for $253 or In the Box for
$751.
Why is there a big difference, when it is only a box and manual extra?
 
OEM is restricted, apparently, to the computer you install it in, i have activated an OEM on i think 3 diff computers no probs so far.

the full version can be installed on a computer as many times as you want, diff computers, as long as it is not one multiple computers at one time.
 
It should be no restriction at all with OEM version or Full, its just wrong its all about $$$$$$
 
Neweggs OEM description says its limited to one machine (NON TRANSFERABLE). And the OEM does not come with tech support.

WTF 751? You could ALMOST buy 2 copies of ultimate retail for that. The MSRP for ultimate is 399. At Amazon.com its 379.
