Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit x86 folder

[Mad_Vision]

Ok, I just installed Vista Ultimate 64bit for the first time as a gaming machine. So far Steam and Quake Wars go directly to the x86 folder. Is this normal? I should I change the directory to the x64 folder?

It's normal. 64-bit versions of Windows have a normal 'Program Files' folder, and one called 'Program Files (x86)' for discerning between 32-bit and 64-bit applications. Program Files is intended for native binaries (for the native architecture) so x86 is where the 32-bit applications go.

Yes this is standard, Vista x64 has much less problems than XP Pro x64 did. I'm also running Vista Ultimate x64 and I can confirm that that is the correct place it should be.
