I read that if you install windows vista to an SSD it will wear out the ssd much faster than a later version of windows would.

Is there a software addon made by someone else that you can add to windows vista to fix this issue?

Friends don't let friends use vista.

Vista doesn't support trim, but pretty much all modern ssds have some form of garbage collection so you would be fine using one for vista. Though there are certain things you want to adjust like turn off defragmentation, here is a guide I found on google, no idea if its good but it should give you an idea where to start.

If you purchase a 64GB or smaller SSD this may be a problem. Get a 256GB value drive from crucial.
