Windows Vista always chaning folder view!!!

The folder view always changes in vista, is there a way to stop that. One second it will change from list view to tile mode.

This happens to me too, actually. I find it quite annoying, especially when it's changing the views for other applications (like Firefox, when I'm downloading a file and choosing where to save it).

I'd be very interested in a way to fix this.

Install and run, go to Files & Folders III (3) and click Make Views Stick. I had the same problem as you and I did this 2 or 3 weeks ago and it seems to be working.

Hopefully this is something that is fixed in the SP as well.

I'll try the fix above as well. I have to say, this is my only annoyance with Vista.
