I have an MS Action Pack subscription, and my latest set of downloads has Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 listed.

Anyone here actually used this?

I see it supports NFS and iSCSI, anyone know anything about the performance of either?

Just curious, that's all.

i have used Windows Storage server (and use them already) and i am glad about every one that
i can replace with Solaris (OpenIndiana) ZFS for SMB, NFS, AFP and iSCSI use.

(Monthly security fixes with reboot- always hope if it works, bad handling, complications with files
created by my Mac's - long file path, much worser snapshot handling, no online file checking compared to ZFS scrubbing,
no owner/root access- even if a user has removed admin account, no licence fees, SSD caches, checksums, copy on write
and 100 other good ZFS reasons..)
