2.13 C2D, 2 GB RAM, 7300 LE.
With Aero or Vista basic themes active, everything is smooth; however, when I apply Windows Standard (i.e. Win2000) as the theme, I find that moving windows around the screen is noticeably choppy and the UI is generally laggy. I even disabled the Themes and Desktop Windows Manager services just to test, but same thing. When I go back to Aero, all is smooth again. Seems quite odd that Standard would cause behavior like that.
